Game of the Day: Canada vs. Finland 5 p. m. ET)
The reigning champions, Canada 4-0-0-1), will take on host nation Finland 3-0-1-1) in a crucial group-stage battle. Canada is coming off a 2-1 overtime win against Sweden, where Mark Scheifele scored the game-winner, extending his tournament goal tally to five. Auston Matthews has been dominant, scoring three goals in his last two games, while goaltender Jake Oettinger boasts a 1. 85 GAA Jack Hughes 4NF Jersey.
Czechia will rely on young netminder Jakub Dobe, who recorded a 34-save shutout in his World Championship debut against Switzerland. Forward David Pastrk has also been in great form, leading the team with eight points five goals, three assists).
