DirectStorage Temporarily Disabled for Stability

Another important change in this patch is the temporary disabling of DirectStorage, a technology designed to improve game loading times and performance by optimizing how game assets are streamed from storage devices.

Due to ongoing performance investigations, Blizzard has turned off DirectStorage by default to ensure stability. Players who had DirectStorage enabled may experience improved stability by turning it off, although the option to Diablo 4 Items manually re-enable it remains available via the Battle.net launcher.
